yea, I said it poorly, I am going to blame it on English not being my 'first tongue',
My 'first tongue' is "yoda", with English, besucher German and poquito Spanish all thrown in.
As a graduate of Miami Dade county public schools, I can claim to be functionally illiterate in 2 languages. I am still working on it (obviously).
;-)
that's my story and I am sticking to it.
Oh,ok gottca...understand what your saying.
my only point there was if some meatball (like me, since it is how I learned it, many years ago) put the input wires in the wrong screw terminal on the truck management module, which from that point, until it was corrected, would send the improper code to the dash.
Ed: I looked up the code descriptions "ONLINE" for this truck and these descritions are for these codes and truck model....
Hey Kevin, while that might be correct 90%, any code above 89 is for "manufacturer codes" (Truck management module inputs to the logic) and these codes can relate to whatever the manufacturer's engineers or techs have chosen, they are outputs that the manufacturer decides the order of, so it might be motor temp, or brush wear indicators, and what sensor is for what code may have as much to do with the order someone put wires back on to a truck management module, than what the book says they go to. I know in my life I have spent days wondering why I get a motor over temp code when it turned out the problem was the brushes were worn out.
If this truck has the GE EV100ZX Control system code 90 is For traction motor Temperature to high.
Code 93 is steering motor brushes worn and need replaced
Are there any battery retaining bar switch's on this truck if so i would check them. Do you have the serial # of the truck to post?
seat swich not closed. head contaktor dont close
So we did replace the main GE computer board/traction controller. We now get codes 90 and 93 to pop up. We also still get "TURN KEY OFF" on the display. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
