yes andy,
even as handy as those ezfill systems are they are not fullproof. They do require maintenance and those cap floats and level indicators do stick after a while.
I had one in a reach truck one time that the floats would not shut off the water completely and wound up spilling onto the floor from a couple of the cells, overfilling those cells, i had to replace the caps on those cells.
It pays to check them once in a while physically to make sure all is in good order with the caps, hoses etc.
Finally got to the bottom of it, emergency stop checked out ok, tried running on the other trucks battery set and all worked fine, if i can give anyone a tiny bit of advice, dont rely on autofil systems to show electrolyte levels, all markers were up but the cells were pretty much empty, 35 litres of water later and all is fine, thanks for your help guys.
Michel v is right.
The emergency switch (main switch) is the one you didn't report you have checked.
This may be there.
hef one good look on emergency Stop button for good conexion
So the speed sensor was def faulty new one fitted today and now pump motor ramps up to full speed with no faults, traction is fine, but combine the two and it still throws up T312 or L286 at probably 3/4 to full pump speed. iv checked all connections large and small wires, slight corrosion on the pos battery take off, replaced it anyway. The truck has gone through a complete charge cycle and all cells are at 2.11/2.12 standing charge battery at 50.92v so close yet so far, there is another truck of the same model/spec so i will try switching batteries but dont think ill find an answer, any ideas guys?
I wonder that symptom has 386 linde, malfunctioning since for one thing to have poorly will give many codes that will not have to do with the failure that you have to be able to help you,
Hello Andy
One by one:
T312 - battery voltage too low
T860-863 - traction Power Module leftside error
L225 - pump motor doesn't reach the proper speed, although the signal from the controller is present
L286 - too low current on lift joystick
T421-425 - the communication between Can bus and power module rightside is faulty.
T900-963 - power module rightside error
L800-863 - lift power module error
T411-415 - the communication between Can bus and power module leftside is faulty.
Uff - looks like total disaster.
But probably the problem lies in:
1. Power supply. Check battery, high voltage cables, fuses, main switch, cable connections.
2. Electric motors. These are 3-phase AC motors and any short circuit can give very strange output
3. Least possible but possible. Earth connection.
It may happen that the truck gets "loaded" and needs to be connected to the earth.
Good luck
