Thanks for you useful input. Everything is a help.
well i stand corrected
the model number looked very similar to the one i was working on
looks like rick would be more helpful, sorry i couldnt help more
If this is the rick that I think you are, you are the best in the industry on toyotas. I will remind you monday and wish you would have returned my calls. Thanks in advance for the help!!
david, i have a schem but not on pdf, i will have to scan and e. remind me monday. "you should be able to figure out who i am". if not.........you gonna need more than a schem
Actually, this is a four wheel unit and I pretty sure it is a 2fbca15, I have seen 2fbce15 and 2fbc15 models. But will follow your advice and check frame for any other models. Still doesn't help chasing these wires. Alot of shop wiring and bandaids on this unit.
double check that dataplate, check to see if its been slapped over another dataplate, that model number i bet is not accurate.
this a 3 wheel sitdown electric i presume?
check the frame on the left side floorplate just in front of the battery plate, the serial number will be stamped there as well beginning with the model number then a dash (-) followed by the serial.
The contactors are in a panel on the left side of the truck near the back end if i'm thinking of the right model.
go in there and make sure there are no welded contactors (stuck closed)
Hope this helps, i dont have any diagrams but i am currently working on a toyota at a customer that is almost the same model (2FBCE15) but the accurate model number turned out to be a 2FBC15 when i looked behind the dataplate on the origional one and compared it to what was stamped on the frame too. ;o)
