Toyota 7 FGU25 LP soloenoid clicks on and off

We replaced an Aisin LP regulator in this truck because it was leaking but the truck was running fine.
Now the fuel solenoid continually shuts on and off and the engine has no power on acceleration. Any ideas??

There is a relay that powers it and that could be causing you grief. I have them mess up before and if you tap it the problem should stop.

would consider checking all wiring connections and wires at connectors to lp regulator, pull on them to confirm not broken as they go into rubber grommetts at connection plug and would also check wires at distributor plug harness side, if no success then install old solenoid into new regulator.
