Schreck Platform truck - Model SP - Gearbox

We have a Schreck Platform truck - Model SP, S/N 16231 (late 1980's??). The motor is good, but the gearbox needs to be replaced. Can someone tell me where we can source parts or cross reference parts to do this repair?

Thank you for that information. Hoistlift can supply the part I need, but I may check with Steve to compare pricing.

Actually, you are better off calling a company called IVS, Ask for Steve Musgrave...330-722-6036..He can help on older style Schreck parts. He may have built it!

Thank you for the information. I went to their web-site. Hoistlift did purchase Schreck and Elwell Parker in Sept. 2000, and continued to manufacture their product lines until March 2005. They still stock parts to support those two name brands.
Again, Thanks!

I thought Hoistlift in Chicago bought Schreck some time ago.
I've just checked their website and it seems they have stopped doing the speciality trucks now.

Could be worth giving them a call though.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
