Discussion:
CAT F30D only left drive motor works

Hi @ all Cat-Experts,

Maybe you can help me.
On a CAT CB Electric Truck F30D I have no power on the right drive motor(When you seat on truck). If you press the acc pedal full down and the bypass connector closes than both motors works normaly with full speed.

Any idea?
OK are: Fuses,All Connectors&Coils, 4 Diodes, 2 Transistors, Motor Cables, Left & Right Motors (Checked with changing cables), Steering

Thank you very much for your time!

With what information you have I can only take a wild guess. It would be useful information if the S/N group was known and if you have performed the on board diagnostics witb the Micro Command operating system. So you have only one of the two drive motors in normal operation. What is showing in the display? What faults if any are shown? Are power steering and lift operations normal? Depending on your answers will determine if you have open 1 TRN R or L; open motor circuit between TRN and motor; defective driver board; open plug sensor wire; open current sensor circuit; a defective #4 or #5 diode Ror L of course; defective logic card.
