POWER STEERING

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS OF WHY THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT ON THIS MODEL TOYOTA.THE FUSE IS OKAY.THERE IS A CURRENT SENSOR ON THE P/S UNIT THAT I TOOK OFF ANOTHER TRUCK AND THAT DID NOT HELP.ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT I WOULD LOOK FOR NEXT.

hey rich k. i have some problem in the steering the problem occurs sometimes...i already sent he steering motors for rewinding the problem fix and a couple a week the truck got same problem found a blown fuse replace it nothing happened

I'm hoping for some info thank you for any info about this.

Does it have "on demand" power steering? If so it has a torque sensor on the bottom of the steerig shaft. That sends a signal to an electronic circuit board to turn on the power steering motor.
