Pnuematic tire wear between Linde and Toyota

I have a sales guy telling me that the Linde truck will use less tires in its life than a comparable Toyota pnuematic tired forklift. Is this true and why?

It is because the hydrostatic transmission on the linde, makes it hard to spin the drive wheels when changing direction and it generally accelerates and brakes in a smooth fashion. Having said that most torque convertor type transmissions now come with a tyre saver option which will prevent the spinning of the drive wheels. So as long as the Toyota in question is available with a tyre saver option and is driven correctly the tyre wear will be similar.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
