i have given up trying to repair a E15-2 model Linde Baker and i'm now toying with the idea of converting it to a General Electric panel. i'm just not exactly sure which type of card and panel to use. what i need is a panel and card for a 24 volt, 3-wheel electric with dual motors and only 4 contactors ( 2 pairs of fwd and rev ). i want to keep it as simple as possible. i don't need a RB contactor or a FW contactor. in fact, i don't need a 1A contactor either. i just want this forklift to operate without any bells and whistles. maybe i need an older type of panel like a EV 1 but i was hoping someone had already done this type of conversion. thanks, Jay

ok...installed EV100LX-MT card and used panel off a 3 wheel Clark TM15 forklift. no RB contactor, no FW contactor, just a pair of FW and REV contactors and 1A contactor. Linde OEM had normally closed speed sensors GE needs normally open switches. left the OEM hydraulics from Linde. truck runs great. had to tinker a little with the setup of the speed pot but otherwise a straight forward conversion. i regret not being able to repair this forklift correctly. i don't promote conversions but this was a financial decision for me and my customer really needed his forklift back up and running. thanks for all the responses.
Hi fella I did a conversion not long ago to a translift bendi same idea two wheel drive just wheels driving at rear instead of front we bought a complete system from sevcon they can be found on the internet just get in touch tell them what you want it to do give them your motor specs and hey presto one complete unit just an on off contactor then the rest is all in the box. Also quite cheap to replace if they go wrong. However they seem quite reliable.
glen, I have done a few hundred conversions, however I rarely do them any more.
I would suggest the system from Navatis if I was going to do a conversion these days, their setup was always pretty straightforward, and I have had great success with the life of their controllers.
Hello Duo, i appreciate your input. we did receive very good advice here in this forum and from however due to the costs associated with the Linde parts needed we have decided to perform this conversion. we have a large number of good used GE panels and cards to perform this change. we are going to eliminate the Linde OEM system and just go with a GE system. we have been advised to use an EV 100 LX card with the MT option for dual motors. i was just wondering if anyone had perfomred this type of conversion on any other brand of forklift. thanks, Jay
You would be making a huge mistake. These Linde panels are very easy to trouble shoot and repair.
