As I do not work for either tailift or SME, I can not give any sort of definitive answer. However all the SME controllers I had seen in the past could be setup with the same handset, and it seemed to me that it was pretty straight forward and well thought out menus..

Hi Edward,
Is there a handset that you can use on these systems or can you do everything through the dash display?
The system is on a Tailift. FBT18
