Discussion:
code numbers

We are having trouble with side-shifter/push-pull. When we use the s/s or push-pull levers the unit stops operating and code numbers 54-1, 64-1 and CB-1 appear on dash and a beeping noise starts. We turn the key off and recylce the key switch and hand brake. The unit will operate in lift and tilt but as soon as the side-shifter or push-pull lever is activated the contactor tips close brightly and the unit stops working. The contactor tips are new. Any ideas?

It may sound strange but I would check the battery. Using s/s and p/p draws more current than lift
