problem with a linde H80D-900, H2X396Z, year 2009

Hello everyone,

Iám having a big problem with a linde H80D-900.The costomer complained about when he is lifting at full throtthle and than suddenly stop, The steeringwheel gets stuck. When the engine has reached a lower rpm and les flow in the system the steering wheel is free again. This problem accurs also when he drives at full speed and than suddenly stop ore changes quickly the drive direction. Two components are replaced already: The complete orbitrol and the coplete controlvalve on top of the hydraulic pump (priorityvalve). After these replacings no result!!!!

Can anyone help me solving this problem!

Hi Markymark1,

Think you could check the steering control valve assembly and the control relief valve inside it.

Good luck,

Regards

Hello Andy,

That is some of the things i had already checked, no problems here. Can it be that by suddenly stopping the flow, the pump is steered back in '0' position, so there is no oil left to steer??

I think you should check the hydraulic suction filter and suction hoses. It sounds like you could have a restriction on the suction side, perhaps causing the hoses to collapse and stopping the flow when demand is high.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
