Yale GLC050VXNVRV085 anti roll forward feature

So if you put one of these trucks in forward without touching the brake it will start to roll forward just like any other forklift but then the brake or transmission will drag and slow it down. If you touch the brake a switch trips and releases it from dragging. How can you adjust that. I see in the control menu a brake/inching adjustment but that doesn't seem to change this. One truck is way too abrubt in the way it "auto drags" and the operators don't like it. The other Yales are not as bad but having the truck's traveling controled automatically is wierd. What is the whole purpose of this feature because the operators think it's stupid. Thanks.

I have not tried to set it for default settings. I think that (default) is the way it is set because no one has adjusted these trucks. I did try adjusting the "inching/brake" setting, which was set at 5 out of 10, but that didn't seem to control it. Do I just enter "default settings" and it will set all controls back to factory new? If you ask me it is not a very good safety feature. The operators do slow precise maneuvering with these forklifts and it can be frustrating to have it brake itself if you change directions without touching the throttle or brake petal while just trying to crawl along.

its a safety feature. if you are not pressing the throttle pedal the truck thinks you don,t want to move so prevents movement by engaging the opposite direction , if you turn truck round it,ll do in the other way
