failed P-04, F-04 mitsubishi FG25N AF17D000460
I have the same problem or similar Installed new relay box CORRDED bad did someone say fusable link ? or a 5 a fuse at the injector? I still need to go through and cleen all connects. key cycles only way to clear codes ? thx
Yes Guys, truck is fix now. Broken wire from ECM to drive unit #39 for ECM CONNECTOR which is #9 on drive unit harness connector, PWM signal wire, repair and truck start and working fine. Thanks to everyone that share with me in the forum. Thanks alot.
The codes are gone now found corroded connection on relay box for EG1 relay but the truck is not starting still check supply from injector drive unit to injector connector no signal the drive unit getting all input signal bout not outputing to LPG injector this unit maybe bad will check wiring between control and drive unit because it should receive a pwm signal. Any other suggestio will help.
Swap the fusible link with a known good one or a new one, also check the 5amp fuse next to the fuel injector.
almost all if these I have ran into (and this is about one of the 20 most common error codes these units pop up with) were either the relays (far most common), the connections to the relay box or the box itself not holding the connectors securely, a few were the dash itself.
It may be possible it is the controller itself, or a fuse, (hopefully you have checked all the fuses for a voltage drop first).
when you say the relays "checked out" can you describe further how you tested the relays? have you tried replacing all the relays from a "known good" unit?
Edward all the relays were tested, all work well. I am testing all circuit for broken wires non was found so far. ECM are good could be damage connectors at ECM have to check. If any other suggestion, let me know
Thank you.
this can often be one of the relays in the blue relay box (my bet is the "main C" relay). there may also be a "spare" relay if this is not a dual fuel truck, that in the legend inside the relay box lid is labeled "fuel pump" and since there is no fuel pump for an LPG system, you can move the last relay (fuel pump) over to the main C position and fix this for very little effort or money. you can use the old relay as a sample to get a new one from an auto parts store if you can not get to a Mitsubishi or Caterpillar or Nissan forklift dealer. I 1/2 way think the PN from NAPA is a806, but could not promise that to be the case.
