Discussion:
Jungheinrich EJD 20 - 2004

Hi Guys,

I have a driving problem on a JH EJD 20-3 from 2004 (Walk-behind stacker). The driving stops at full throttle. The potentiometer goes from 0.9 at rest to 8.25 volts full throttle, but higher than about 8.00 volts the traction stops.

Are these vaules correct? Is this the potentiometer, or a problem in the calibration?

BTW. Now and then it drives good, but i didn't have my multimeter on it at that time.

The costumer finally told me it was alright to fix this truck. Replaced the throttle controller but same fault.

It turned out to be the interface card on the MP1510.

Thanks for your replies.

Error 6 on a Jungheinrich is almost always the throttle twist controller, this is a very common fault.
Truck will drive slow but when full throttle applied, truck stops and error 6 displayed or flashed
Check the wiring first and have a good visual inspection of the controller, specially if it has an anti-crush switch attached

Hi

I've been measuring the voltage once more: At 5V (to B-) it goes slow, 7,5 V is full speed, and at 7.75 it stops and flashes 6 times. I didn't order a new controller yet but now I doubt if it would solve my problem. It is indeed a MP1510 drive control. Are there any other measurements I can do? What should the supply voltage be?

Hi,

The custumor seems to need time to agree with the repaircosts. Thanks for your replies. I'll let you know when I know more.
Fittermax: can you send me an e-mail? I've got a question for you about something else.

HI.
6 blink : Output from speed-controller, when in neutral, is less than 0,05V or more than 1,8V. Maximum output from speed-controller should be less than 5 V. I think you have a broken / defective speedcontroller.
Best regards, Max
