This is the problem related to lift/ down switch, Means the lift or lower switch may be activated , Just change the Lift/ down switch with new one, For trails Press little bit liftdown switch to down side & switch on the truck, Your problem will get solve.

there is no c code 21.
An E code is for error and a C code is just a caution code.
Parameter 21 is for battery amp size from 1 to 20.
You will need the can key to set this.
Can you put year/ model etc

Hi Powerlifter
we dont have a can key for these trucks so that may be the problem ,we only recently started maintanance work in the company with these bt pallet trucks ,i was hoping that because we could get into the parameters and change them that it would be fine but maybe not.

Hi Powerlifter
yes when it goes into lift interupt straight from start up C21 is displayed on the screen.i can get into the parameters through the tiller arm control and we can change the parameter but there seems to be a problem with the controller storing it after the truck is switched off again

Hi corky
The machine your working on sounds like the same as a BT orion and il be able to verify this with a toyota engineer tomorrow, are you sure it is a fault code, and not parameter 21? which relates to the battery size table apart from that if you are trying to adjust anything on the machine you will need a toyota can key to get into and set the parameter you want, thats why you cant save it and lock it in.....

Hi Powerlifter
i have got a bit further with this truck ,i think the C21 fault is linked to the BDI and the truck is going into lift interupt.when the fault is present the BDI parameter on the controller has gone back to 0 even if we set it to 6 it does not seem to store this parameter for long ,either we are not saving it right or the problem is elseware.if you have any ideas on this thanks
