Just for grins , check the positioning switches and tach on drive motor those have to reposition the drive unit in straight ahead as you turn on key and unit needs to see tech at 0

Hi Ron and John,

I swapped the key switch and distribution Panel assembly
Check continuity from key switch to distribution panel, good.
Bypass emergency stop.
It still shuts off

good day,

I went back and check,

The battery to frame:= Pos 17.25 Neg 21.48 volts

the 2 contactors Ohms= 47.3 & 47.5. but I replaced contactors anyway.

I checked fuses before & after turning on the key= 38.1 volt. but i replaced the fuses also.

and after contactor closes i had to hold the key in start position to keep contactor closed got= 38.0 volts.

Is the voltage at fuses 37.5 on both sides after turning on key ? Did you test line contactor
For voltage at both sides when closing of key switch? I ask because the contacts on line contactor may be at fault also have you tested/ replaced the relay board by the line contactor?
There are several relays inside it

What if any battery volts to frame. Measure both positive to frame and negative. Above 25 volts. Possibly a battery issue. Measure your contactor ohms. Remove wires and measure the coils. 19 to 21 ohms. Any more than replace them.

Good afternoon Mr. Ron,

Pin 1&2 has 37.5 volts
Key switch input 37.5
There is 4 wires on the key switch
I replaced all the fuses
I bypass Ed connect 2 wires together
Battery connector good
37.5 at the main fuses.
As soon the key turned on the contactor Will close then fall off same time and everything goes dead.

What voltage do you see before and after key switch? Also check your EDS switch. FU 3 supplies power to key switch. Remove fuses to check them. As what was stated above, they break and carry power, but won't take the load.
CA 203 on the distribution board pin 1&2 power in. Then TP9 you can test voltage for keyswitch. Also make sure your battery plug isn't melted causing a connection issue.

Does it shut down after you try to operate ?
If so check your main fuses the 500 amp
I've seen the carry voltage but drop out when trying to move they break internally but make enough contact to engage but break apart under load also check line contactor

Check the connectors on the top and bottom of your distribution board.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
