Hyster error code 90

Hi all
We have a Hyster E 4.50XL with an error code 90.( drive motor high temperature )
The truck only has to drive a few yards and this code comes on.Turn it off and on again and it might work for a further 20 minutes before coming on again.
Motor looks ok.clean , no earth faults and cold in temperature.
It has a Pyroban system on it,

Check thermal sensor on motor, could be that it is faulty causing an erroneous high temp reading

Paddy,

First check is the battery. If it is fluid filled, make sure each cell is good. You may need to check cell voltage and specific gravity. If the battery is Li ion, make sure the voltage is reading correctly. Check all cable connections from controllers to drive motor. Good Luck
