Code 6K and drives at Half speed

Have code 6K displayed after turning key on, lifts normal but drives at half speed. Checked limit switches and found the switches and cables faulty, cable had wires pilled from pins and the switches were stuck open. after replacing I am still getting the 6K error, and input would be greatly appreciated.
