Discussion:
Dash Display Reads "DEAD"

We have a MODEL: 2EC15 S/N: A2EC161271 that the hour meter reads "Dead" at the last hour reading we had on the unit was 8366.
Our local Cat Forklift dealer is saying the battery in the display is dead. They have quote it as reman. only available at a cost of $550.00 for the reman part only.
My question is are these available from other suppliers?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You
