There's a data tag printed on top of the transmission. Model and serial number. Have to specify this and model and sn to dealer for parts. Is this a 2 speed forward model? If so, rough or abrupt shifting from 2 nd to first will cause clutch pack damage. Operators should never downshift in motion or it blows apart the clutch packs.

Check at the trans solenoids for power. You have reverse so check the other for power. If you have no power at the solenoids then check your shift lever. Sometimes the contacts get dirty and won't allow power to solenoids. Have to replace shift lever if it's electric switch.
