Discussion:
Side travel mode

Hi guys. I am still new maintenance personnel in our company specially the heavy equipment. Our combilift c5000 has a problem regarding the side travel mode. Initially all wheels are on 90 deg, if we put the joystick on right direction, only the rear wheel go 0 deg, we manually steeer using the steering wheel to move the front wheels 90 to 0 deg or more. During side travel mode, which valves should be open for proper steeering of thw wheels.

Hi
I am not clear as to the issue. If I understand correctly when you put the directional level to right, the rear wheel turns to 90, (parallel with back plate), but the front wheels do not turn to 90 also. If this is the case then first check the rear wheel 90 proxy sensor has been activated. When it activates it changes the oil supply in the 6 port to turn the front wheels to 90, until the front wheels reach the 90 proxy, then the cycle is complete.

If you still need support, you can complete a quick technical support form at the bottom of the main combilift.com web site or direct link https://warranty.combilift.net/technical-support-form/. The form only asks for the minimal info so the team can quickly help you. There is no login required and no charge for this support.
Combilift has Technical support technicians in Dubai that can help

your decription of the fault is bit unclear but i suggest that you check to see if the rear wheel sensor when rear wheel is at zero is lighting up and isworking and not moved out of position and check all wheel stops and front sensors on left wheel maybe this isyour problem as i did not fully understand your fault but it appears to be sensor related
