Discussion:
Electronic Ignition enquiry

I have an old 1978 Yale GPO50. which has had a hard life but it is still chugging away. The biggest issue I have is the ignition, it is mainly used on dusty dirt and I am forever pulling apart the distributer and cleaning it out because its running rough. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket electronic ignition for these old girls. I think it has the Mazda FE engine but can't really see any distinguishing markers, no idea what disi it uses, any help would be muchly appreciated.

Cheers
