VW 1.9 TIMING

We have a Linde with a Vw that the tech took the head off without setting any timing marks before removing. We are looking for a diagram and con not find one anywhere to set the crank and timing mark. If anyone has any info can you please send to me. William at forkliftexpress dot com

Sorry ! Just realized it is a diesel
You will need a special timing tool set for that engine the tool has timing mark on it

Make sure you get timing tight ! That is a 0
Tolerance engine
The timing mark on crank is on block beside the gear it looks like a triangle the timing mark for cam on the head beside the cam gear same mark the gears will have dots if you are unsure
Do not attempt ! You can cause an expensive engine repair
