Error code C16/E87

Hi everyone!
I have a 2007 JH EJC212 electric stacker that has error C16/E87 when turned on. Stacker wont move or lift. I need your support to fix the issue.

Tanel_M, thank you for this useful information. I suspected the tiller head malfunctioning sometimes until stacker failed to operate. I will replace the tiller head and see how it works. Very grateful!

It translates to component 16, which is travel switch and error 87 says sensor error or disconnect. Maybe the control head wiring is bad, maybe the the control head itself has died.
