Discussion:
Hydraulic hose fitting

Jungheinrich appears to use some kind of special hydraulic fitting (quick release) for the mast, what fitting is this? I can't seem to find one that exactly matches.

Jungheinrich uses flat-face hydraulic quick-release couplers on the mast. They're designed to prevent fluid loss and dirt ingress, so they don't match standard hose fittings (https://aerocomfittings.com/categories/hose-fittings). You'll need the OEM style or an ISO flat-face equivalent in the correct size, best to check with Jungheinrich or a supplier like Stucchi or Faster for the exact match.

These are made by Junghheinrich, most hydraulic shops do not sell these or ones remotely related to these. However some shops will cut the the press fitting off with angle grinder to reuse the quick-release. Press fittting part can be replaced with generic one. However mostly are these used for reach trucks, and there the original Jungheinrnich hoses are more elastic than generic hydraulic shop ones. Also originals come off the shelf shorter so for installation you need to pulll them quite hard to install.

Fact of the week
In May 2023, a Belgian Malinois named Wilson played a key role in the rescue of four children lost in the Amazon jungle. The young children were missing for 40 days after a plane crash that killed their mother and other adults. Wilson tracked the children's footprints, leading the military to their location.
