H150F tilt cylinder rebuild

Hello,

This is an old machine (1982 I believe), recently repacked the tilt cylinders. Using my serial number the kit for the new seals came up as part number 652653. This worked for one of the cylinders, the other despite looking the same from the outside was completely different on the inside. Made a youtube video, may help someone (or not :) ).

Hi Garland,

Thanks for the tip. I did find those numbers stamped in the tube (didn't know what they were at the time), but by that point I had taken the seals to a hydraulic shop and had them match up replacements from Hercules Seals. It's all back together now and working. The video in my first posts shows the process.
Thanks!

Greg,

They probably installed one new and one old cylinder when building gets lift or someone replaced with what would fit. Clean the outside of the tube and look for either 6 or 7 numbers. This will be the production part number, possible part number. Call the local dealer and they should be able to get the correct seal kit. Good Luck
