maybe you should create your own thread/post new.
When you do so you may get a better response.
As for helping with fault codes etc? i'm not sure, not enough info.
Start a new post and i'll most likely see it and join in.

more than likely it's just programming and firmware
those are generally mfg specific, they may be similar in format but every mfg has their own options and specific settings etc.
You would need to get the firmware versions of each to see but i'd be willing to bet they are different.
