Discussion:
No Forward or Reverse, Motor has Voltage

Hi everyone, first time poster here.

Our Crown WTL Stacker stopped driving last week. The motor still has voltage(25.6V) and the brushes have tons of life left. The lift still works perfectly, and the battery is charged. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Thanks,

Tanner

If you have good battery voltage and your cables and connections are good and the motor brushes are not stuck in the brush holders then try cleaning the motor armature with a comm stone. I see a lot of older trucks with the same problem. The brushes get stuck in the holders and ruin the armature. Also, make sure the brushes can move freely inside the brush block holder.
