Code A4 setting

Anybody come across code A4 on a cat NRR40?

not much on this code
the code description says "This code indicates that the COP on the VFC has timed out. This code should never be detected in normal operation.
To clear it turn key off/on
if code presists the only corrective actions it lists
1 - check static strap and circuitry (make sure it has a static strap, it is touching the floor and if there is no static strap put one on it.)
2 - Use D-Cat, version 2.8 or higher to resolve code. See "supplement - Dealer/Technitian configuration program: user instructions" on page 7-3 in service manual.
3 - the vehicle manager may be bad

just a guess but chances are it's a static strap issue
