Cubiscan and volumetric data transfer

Could someone please advise how and what process they follow on Cubiscan machine to get volumetric data and how this product data information is transfer to the centralised system. Volumetric data includes product dimensions weight and etc. Please also let me know if there is any alternative way of getting this data without using Cubiscan scanner We would like to save time and manpower which is being spent on cubiscan to scan products details ( dimensions )
