Discussion:
Reach function goes on by itself after star up/ no aux functions inop

Hi everyone, first off I want to mention I don't usually work on electric lifts but took on this job because I work on all of customers IC lifts. I have a Raymond stand up model easi dr 25tt ser: et d 03 1215. I recently replaced joystick due to no drive. Now problem is after self test start up, unit would reach on its own without operator standing in station. You'll heard control valve solenoid click and you can see hoses for reach on mast " move" coz of fluid flowing. I also don't have tilt or side shift functions. There's constant power to solenoid coil on hyd control valve. I thought it was the aux module since that's the common thing all functions have. Installed new card, aux functions worked for 30 seconds, then reach extended out again on its own. I don't have a manual for this lift but and pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes big issue with rebuilt Raymoan control handles. So much time to tear one apart and fix it yourself, then have horn button or tilt switch fail after you install a travel pot. So you buy a complete handle for $2000!...but Had many rebuilt handles fail on install, or months later while I was a Raymond tech.
Now see other brands, like Yale, Cat with bullet proof handles that rarely fail except for damage. Replace travel pot on Yale orderpicker
in minutes. Raymond OPC beside it takes hours!
Other makes have $1000 tag on rebuilts, why is raymond double that for a cheaply made, unreliable flimsy POS costing $2000?

Nevermind, found problem. Raymond rebuilt joysticks are only as good as person rebuilding them. Just so happened I got a POS one that's shorted out.

Shouldn't there be 5 digits at the end of the Serial?

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
