Fault code 523859-3 assistance

Model:GLP040VXNVRV086
Serial:B875V06433J
Code Present: 523859-3

Forklift sat for several months. Installed new battery and cleared all codes and and this code pops back on as soon as unit is started. All functions (travel and Hydralics) appear good and fluid levels are good.

The only thing I see that is not working is the brake lights. Checked continuity on the mechanical brake switch and it appears to be open whether the switch is in the open or closed position. My suspicion is that this switch is bad, but would like some guidance as to to code and proper T-shooting tips on the brake light inop issue.
Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.

Just an update: this code was actually for the transducer in the Master Cylinder. Changed it out and it fixed the code and the brake light issue. Did this months ago, but forgot to provide an update.

Thanks Brewski. I wanted to make sure that brake switch wasn't one of those fancy no continuity types. LOL. I was hoping it was the cause of that code. Can you point me in the right direction on making adjustments to that pressure. This asset has less that 200hrs on it so I wouldn't a bad sensor. It pops that code immediately upon start-up.

Your code is for Hydraulic aux. pressure reading high. Brake switch should close when brake is applied.
