Discussion:
Auxiliary Vickers valve rhd

C500Y40PD
There is a Vickers valve mounted on the rhd side of my Clark. A hose
or two are connected to the valve, but all other connectors are blocked
by plugs. There is no lever or linkage to the pin, coming out of the upper
side of the valve. I would like to fit a fork-side-mover (not quite sure about
the proper terminus technicus,... to change the distance between the forks
and the position). Can anybody help with some advice, parts cataloque facts
and/or partno., thread types etc., please. The Vickers valve block looks like a standard, genuine part fitted to this truck.
PS: I meanwhile tried to measure the threads of two connector nipples coming out the valve at the left side and underneth.
The best fit seems to be M20×1.5 mm. 3/4" and M18 are too small. M20 is a loose fit, so the thread pattern isn't precisely M20x15. It must be a little bit smaller.
