Discussion:
CLARK ESMII LURCHES or JUMPS FORWARD & BACKWARD THEN ERROR #49 & #53

Gentlemen, as soon as the joystick is moved forward or reverse the machine jumps in the respective direction the contacts close twice and then the error occurs and then nothing. The key must be cycled off and on to reset. Error #49 occurs in forward with error #46 showing just briefly. Error #53 occurs in reverse with error #42 showing just briefly. The battery is only 2 months old. I have a service manual and tested the transducer (accelerator) and it appears to be good. It does not matter how far the joystick is pushed the results are identical. Prior to jacking up the drive wheels, it would hit so hard that I had trouble staying on the machine. The control is an EV-100 MK. The serial number is ESM247-0171-8714EB. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
