Z24 PTO chain gear removal

I have a Z24 and I'm trying to get the lower crank PTO gear off. It has the thimble style lock. Any tips on how to get this released?

The young children were missing for 40 days after a plane crash that killed their mother and other adults. Wilson tracked the children's footprints, leading the military to their location.
