Manitou MT1740 electrical query/help

Hi All

I have a manitou mt1740, and am wanting to fit a switch to my aux circuit button, basically so when i am using attachment i dont have to hold the button on at the joy stick, i just need to flick the switch?

Is this possible?

Not sure about that side of the pond, but on my side it would be breaking an OSHA Regulation. It's designed that way as a safety feature and you can not modify anything that has to do with capacity or safety without the manufacturers written permission and has to be performed to their specs.
