The Materials Handling market is about to change. With only around six or seven of the world's manufactures serving. With in the next 10 years most warehouse will be completely different Companies like KION of China DAMATIC or TOYOTA of Japan VANDERLANDE will dominate the warehouse business with hole turnkey products. Pallet trucks, reach trucks VNA truck will all be replaced with automated equipment.
Counter balance forklift sales will also decline and be replaced with complete handling systems that will be able to move products around a facility with out the need of an operator. Out side the facility there will also be big changes Both Diesel and electric forklifts will be replaced with 100% zero emission products that will have much longer ranges then electric forklifts and will be able to handle loads up to 72,000kg while being 100% zero emission. Companies Like Hyster who have backed Hydrogen to the tune of up to $260 million investment will see this disappear as hydrogen forklifts wont be able to compete with the new technologies that will offer lower cost's ,no need for high pressure systems ,be less explosive and more cost effective than hydrogen.

the annoucment will be the showing of the truck. To me its quite simple when you show something you make and annoucement.
look at wwwdotevzedotme/V160 or V90ECH there much better
Also known of you so called experts have said if you agree if paying $100 Million plus $10 million investment to purchase Maximal was a good deal for Hyster

You are correct in everything you said except for one observation.
In this case, the village idiot can't see it as the village idiot is the one spouting it.
well chrisk
why else do you think i mentioned earlier this is just one big vicious circle with this guy
how many rounds have we gone with this guy on this issue? i lost count :oD
anyway i'm pretty sure as far as any of us engaged in this discussion are concerned at THIS POINT? is the 'wonder truck' he claims to have, well, it doesn't exist till he actually presents it, no matter what he claims.
Anyone if articulate enough can dig up data and talk about it till the cows come home but in the end none of it really matters unless you have something 'materially' , 'real life' to show for it. (to date he has shown us nothing substantial to prove his claims).
You know it, i know it, any of us that have been in this industry for any substantial amount of time knows it. I mean really, any village idiot can see it :oD.
Everybody pay attention:
On Page 7, post dated April 7 2020 (remember the April promise) Exalt said:
"The truck will be released in the fourth quarter and people will be able to see it,"
Did you hear that?......RELEASED
Fast forward to September 26, 2020 where Exalt said:
"We have said there will be an announcement in this quarter which we are sticking to, there will be an announcement this quarter that will explain our product."
Did you hear that?.....We have gone from RELEASED to an ANNOUNCEMENT
Did I mention the April Promise?
Que the explanations with a bunch of garbage that WON'T explain the change along with some dribble about Hyster, Clark, IC Engines, Lithium Batteries, etc etc etc.
We won't do anything till after the annoucement this quater this includes posting pictures or videos, I wouldn't even know were to start on post a picture on forkliftaction.
As for Hyster / yale i don't know any body their and have never appraoched them about anything. I do research on all companies that will be competitors to our products, these include Kalmar Kone Cranes, Hyster, Sany, Heli, Hangcha, KION, Toyota really any company that has forklift over 10,000kg. In this reaserch i do come across some very interesting points like what Hyster Yale are planning to do NUVERA this is open knowledge as its in their investor presentaion. I also know from our own people that hydrogen fuel cells won't be economically viable due to high cost and other problems accoisiated with hydrogen. I also understand the value of a company and really $100million + for Maximal in China is around $80 Million to high. Hyster Yale paid way to much money for a bankrupt company. I also understand the Hyster deal with Tractors of India that are taking sales away from Hyster and will be part of the reason Nijmegen will close with in the next 24 month.
As for the technology and service engineers, all the work on the modulars would be carried out in a service centre under factory conditions allowing the service techs to be able to work on the modular with or with out a laptop it will be their own choice and preferance.
OK where is this truck and why do not post a picture or video of it in action? It does not exist
Did you approach Hyster/Yale with your world beating idea only to be told to get lost?
You make it sound like a idiot can work on this thing I know of a similar idea that was tried out about 20 years ago and it did not work, Some of the techs i see now really do not have a clue unless it is displayed in great detail on their laptops. I got so annoyed at one tech i took his laptop and placed it on the truck there was an issue with and told him have his laptop fix the thing It just sat there.
So the trucks modulars would be manufactured at the Dubai facility, then shipped to North America, This is the plan at the moment. This could change if other facilities are added like one in Europe and one in North America.
It is quite right that if a component was to fail the modular would be taken out and an exchange modular fitted to allow the truck to get back in service as quickly as possible. The modular would the be taken to the service depot ware it would be looked at and repaired by a technician then placed back into the exchange storage area. Training for the technician can be done quite easily as technicians are usually quite smart and most of the basics are very similar to what they would already know.
Its like having a technician working for say Toyota working on Toyota trucks then moving to Equipment Depot to work on Cat truck there would be some training but it would be quite easy for the tech to do.
johnjr
i believe he said they are currently being built in dubai?
now as for repairing one?
no training needed apparently?...
they are leggo blocks (plug n play)...
one component breaks ya unplug and and then replug a new one in...
anyone can do it right?
Field Service technicians/Engineers? who needs em, right exalt?
:oD
So it's an announcement now this quarter not an actual truck, what a surprise!
"There are plans in progress at the moment to have a 500 truck rental fleet in North America by the end of 2023."
From my vantage point, pretty ambitious goals for an unknown, unproven supplier promoting unproven product(s) (i.e. not field proven), that has zero authorized distributors and/or trained service technicians (aka engineers), local parts supply (or module supply) and other product support capabilities like operator training,, within North America.
BTW where would these 500 units be built???
our truck has been able to change the principle of the design, we are able to be lighter and smaller than a standard IC truck allowing for better L/C and better driverbillity.
Clark really has nothing at all to do with our company. the point i was making about Clark is their original design that still stands today in all OEM's product of IC forklifts.
Thow from what i understand Clark in the late 60's early 70's were said to be the leading manufacture in North America, this might have been the case like i said this is just my understanding. Then Toyota came a long and over took Clark.
at the moment Hyster Kalmar, Kone Cranes, Sany would be classed as the top four forklift manufacture of trucks over 10,000kg. this might not be in the right order but if you were to ask what are the top four OEM's over 10,000kg these are the companies who will come up. Toyota might overtake one of these in the next couple of years but as of today these are what would be classed as the top four.
Like Toyota did to Clark in the mid 70's and 80's being top one day doesn't mean you will be top in the future.
Yes, all counterbalanced forklifts are designed around the basic principles of physics, the infamous stability triangle - would suspect yours is too. At least that is what I surmised from the tinker toy video you produced a few years back... Yes, Clark was one of the first companies to produce one and the Wright Brother built the first successful airplane, Ford produced the first assembly line built automobile in 1903, Wham-O produced the first Hula Hoop in the 1950's, etc. In each case others followed.
Here is a bit of their history.
www (dot) clarkmhc (dot) com/Company/History
Clark was certainly a leader for many years but started their fall off the top of the mountain after they moved from Battle Creek, MI to Georgetown, Kentucky. Time changes every thing.
Not certain what Clark has to do with your company being able to produce & ship a product you have long proclaimed to be a world beater. Ammonia has been used as a fuel source in the past but not so successfully.
We have said there will be an anoucement in this quater wich we are sticking to, there will be an anoucement this quater that will explain our product.
Ok what is the web site address you have seen you cliam is crappy
Show some evidence then that would be the easiest way to shut everyone up, for TEN YEARS you have been going on about this truck in one form or another so could you not see how everyone could not just see it as bullsh~t.
We all due respect you are just making your self look stupid now as it has gone on so long without any form of actually proof apart from a few crappy animations and a crappy website
