Jungheinrich EKS 314:
Strange sensor found on chassis gives error E0608

Does anyone know what this is? It's a sensor with catalogue number 51064284, mounted on the chassis between traction and hydraulic motor.

I can't find anywhere what it's used for , but the machine has error E0608 index 0024 and drives slowly...The customer has two of the same trucks, and when we disconnect this sensor the other truck has the same error, so we tried pulling it from the chassis to try to interchange it ,and it broke because it's glued to the chassis, so i presume it's a tilt sensor??

I can't find new one nowhere...Is there a workaround of that sensor?

sounds to me like an impact sensor or something of that sort.
i'd have to see it to be sure though.

So we have a problem now?It is broken and i found two small transistor like components marked DS2431...They are some sort of 1024-Bit 1-Wire EEPROM...

What to do now...there is no way of repairing it or bypassing?

This is a coding chip in the chassis, it's not replaceable and it holds the truck details, it cross references the data with the safety controller
