Hi Peter,

Certainly, one side of the contactor coil is feeded directly from F6, and the other side is feeded by MCU inside controller with a PWM signal that allows to excite a 24v coil.

There are some machines that carry a dc/DC converter mounted under the relay card mainly used for feeding options like for example lights. But there are machines that do not have this converter. This converter has nothing to do with the contactor feeding.

Should check that you have:

- positive from F6 in X11.4 (Its oK)
- positive from F1 in X11.2
- Positive from key switch to X11.15

Should open the controller cover to check driver burns in MCU

Check your mail and let me know if can help you.

Regards

Hi Nacsand n
I have been back to the truck today and think the fault is in the controller, I have 48volt + on the coil from fuse 6 and the - goes into the controller on pin 4, Is it the controller what switch the neg line very fast to reduce the voltage to 24v on the negative line or is they a convertor to reduce the voltage in the controller, is 48v correct on the + line,
Cheers

the line contactor coil is feeded through F6 fuse - conectors X27.1 - X27.2 - X26.1 in the rear relay card to positive side of coil. The other negative side of coil is feeded directly from conector X11.4 in the controller through conectors X60.2-X26.2 also in the rear relay card.

Check for shortcircuits in the rear relay card or check Mcu inside controller.
