Discussion:
Steer throttle

Hello, I have a wav 50-118 that is acting up. It a2008 model year, the machine is hard steering makes very wide turns, you have to alternate fwd and rev, to make it turn. The dealer my customer purchased it from said that's how the older ones steer!!! I find that hard to believe. It also has an intermittent fault, when I plug my Curtis handset in I get a steer throttle fault. Can anyone give me some more info on this. I'm thinking possibly steer pot, but how do I calibrate it? What's the procedure? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steer pot is calibrated via the handset, and wide turning problem is usually drive motors and or brake, check brushes, clean comm etc, but make sure you put motors back together as taken apart.
This is a common wave problem
