Discussion:
Starter removal

CB6000-61215 w/ Kubota engine (My model looks suspicious)
One of our technicians is asking if there are any tips in getting to and removing the starter for replacement. I was told, it looks like a terrible job. Lots of components in the way. I know this is a rather random request since I have not seen the machine myself. If anyone has advice or needs more info, please reply.
Thank you

Hi
Based on the serial no, this truck shipped 2021 which may mean depending on hrs that it is still within warranty. Please contact Conmbilift before doing any repairs to the engine to confirm if warranty or not as you may void the engine warranty.
The link to the engine callout form is https://warranty.combilift.net/combilift-engine-callout-request/.

There is no charge to use the callout or technical support. For general techical support please use the following link https://warranty.combilift.net/technical-support-form/

All links are at the bottom of the main combilift.com web site and the forms work on phones or PC's.

Thanks,
Richard

Not sure about a CB6000 with the kubota depends if its lpg or diesel but the the cb6000s with the toyota 4y have the starter located on the back side of the engine (far side when looking at it with the hood open) and theyre easier to get if you remove the rear wheel and go up from there.

I think the kubota lpg is the same but the diesel kubota starter are located on the opposite but i cant remember
