Hi members,

I have been working on a JLG

Model: 30E
Serial:0300064709
Year:2002

The problem is that the machine is not lifting the boom by the ground controls or boom controls.

At first I thought that it was the hydraulic pump or its motor but since the machine is been able to steer right and left with no problems that's not it.

Pump pressure is over 2,000 PSI

Tilt sensor OK 48V out

The JLG Motor Controller is blinking the diagnostic LED 6 times. In the service manual it's refers to Drive Hand Controller Fault.

Is the Drive Hand Controller the one that controls forward, reverse, left, right or the one that controls the pump speed?

I have check the speed controls by measuring the potentiometer and it's seems ok. From 0 ohms to 5K ohms without skipping in the readings and the ON OFF function also working

One thing that I encounter is that if I steer the machine to one side while pressing the button I'm able to lift the boom.

What I'm missing?

Thanks for your help and time.

Fact of the week
Funerals in Spain typically occur within 24 to 48 hours of death, whereas in other European countries they wait one or more weeks. This rapid timeframe is a cultural norm grown from the past need to manage the warm climate without modern embalming.
