Two points here Point one will KION buy Uni carrier 100% no. No Japanese company would ever sell to a Chines company what KION now is , look at Linde Hydraulics in Germany Investment and jobs have been cut in Germany and moved to China so who ever came up with this is just a smoke screen probably to make MHI move for Uni Carrier. Will MHI buy Uni carrier yes plus Komatsu to make one large company. You are going to find that this market the materials handling market will be dominated by two countries Japan and China forget all the others these are going to be the main two. Korea will see Hyundai take over Clark and either Sammons or Doosan will buy NACCO, Jungheinrich will tye up with MHI as well and these three companies Toyota , KION, and MHI will control most of the market over 70%. KION will buy other companies but these will be mainly Chinese companies or Even Heli will buy KION.


Point two dealers the role of the Dealer will change dramatically over the next five to ten years and you will see more manufactures taking charge of sales with dealer looking after the service who will be success full in this will all depend on who will offer the best service. Now you might say well here in the US this will not happen or here in the Middle east this will not happen or even here in Europe this will not happen. If you believe this you might as well as pack shop now because you wont be around in five years time. Who will be successful in this new era will be the dealer who moves first and becomes more competitive in service with price and service offerings.

There will how ever be many winners in this hole new era and shake up and many losers as well who will win and who will lose only time will tell but one point is guaranteed the market is waking up to a new era and change is coming
