There is a breather cap on the tank.
this is where you put oil in and also where you check the level, there will be a basket type screen inside there, the level should be right up to the bottom of the screen.
as for the type of oil ?
AW32 should be ok unless it is cold storage type system... then it would be AW46 or 68 depending on the temp it is working in.
