Sounds like a waste of a forklift to use in this manner.....one place i worked at had the same situation and they bought a forklift mast and mounted it to a round pipe on a frame work,then hooked it up to a hydraulic system with control valve and plumbed it all to where the person could operate it. Was used to raise pallets of 55 lb bags to a manufacturing process on the second floor.....if needed you could get a mast with a reach attachment on it to set the pallet in place on the second floor.......just a thought......wouldnt need the whole forklift just the lift system
