As a crown tech I can tell you it should be a 12 volt charger I can also tell yo that the speed problem with these trucks tends to be a broken wire in the handle harness so the second speed contactor does not activate the 3rd speed contactor make sure the second speed contactor has the switch mounted to the top of it
