It is inside the hydraulic tank. You remove the bolts that hold the return hose nipple plate to the tank and lift out the plate with filter attached.
The filter is attached to the end of the return tube, I think it has (3) 6mm bolts holding it on to the tube. Been so long since I did one, it might just be a threaded tube and filter like Komatsu.
