RCA, the chattering sounds are the two freewheeling side support casters....yet another unique irritation of this pallet jack. I've never heard a pallet jack's casters be so noisy as this one.

But then the noise results from the erratic speed of the jack so it's probably not defective castors or even their adjustment so much as it is just a result of the main problem.

Re the lawyer idea, one of those things that sounds good on paper but the reality is the dealer is nearly a two hour drive each way and lawyers are rather expensive. If this was a $50,000 machine it would be a different story but considering sans battery it cost 1/10 that much, it is not cost effective to lawyer up just yet.
