the wheels will not move from their respective positions until you select the opposite mode with the direction joystick. Just moving it back to neutral just disengages the drive only and it will remain in the mode you select until you select a different mode.

ie: if you are in sideways travel mode it will stay in that mode until you change mode to front rear travel, THEN the wheels will turn and reposition themselves, when they achieve the full steer mode they then lock in place when they trigger the limit sensors for that respective mode. If you have crab steering mode it does the same.

As far as i know none of the combilifts have any sort of 'automatic' return to normal mode. If they did the operator would always have to be re-selecting the previous mode they were in if this kept happening.

Being this is a C10000 let me do some checking and see if i can find anything on it. I could be mistaken.
